1. Pálinka will be one of the drinks being served. This is often brewed at home by each family. Caution: Do not try to outdrink the Hungarians - this stuff is deadly. 

2. If one of the brides disappears mid-way through the night - don't worry! This is the menyasszonyrablás - they have been stolen and have to be saved by their new spouse by doing a series of difficult tasks.

3. At another point in the night both brides will be dancing with the entire wedding party (in trainers). It is traditional to pay them for their efforts (our poor feet), so have some cash handy. 

4. Traditional Hungarian songs (as well as some rock classics) will be played. A good time to try out your csárdás skills (Google it) with a handy Hungarian. The more spinning the better...

2. Our cheese selection will include an aged Gouda and Leidse Boerenkaas

3. We can't get tulips in July, so our token Dutch flower is the Dahlia

4. One of the wedding favours is 5 sugar coated almonds, said to represent happiness, love, prosperity, fidelity and fertility
